TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED
Navigation data The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected in order to be associated with identified interested parties, but by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation addresses of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and IT environment.
This data is used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its correct operation, and is deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of hypothetical computer crimes to the detriment of the site: apart from this eventuality, at present the data on web contacts do not persist for more than seven days. Data provided voluntarily by the user The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of e-mails to the addresses indicated on this site entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, which is necessary to reply to requests and periodically send promotional and commercial information via e-mail exclusively from the data controller, as well as any other personal data included in the message. No data will be transferred or used by third party companies except for activities strictly related to system administration. Specific summary information will be progressively reported or displayed on the pages of the site set up for particular services on request.
COOKIES
The Site uses ‘cookies’: these are small text files sent by the website or web application visited to the user’s browser (Google Chrome, Apple Safari, Firefox, Internet Explorer, etc.) and stored on the user’s device. Cookies allow the Site to identify the user’s device whenever the user reconnects to the Site through that device. They are used to perform computer authentication, session monitoring and storage of information through which it is possible to facilitate the user’s navigation within the Site (without the use of ‘technical’ cookies, some operations would be very complex or impossible to perform). Cookies do not collect information directly identifying the user. In fact, the Company cannot use cookies to retrieve any directly identifiable personal information (e.g. name, surname) unless provided directly by the user. Furthermore, another website cannot use a cookie issued by the Site to access other information stored on the user’s device. Once saved in the device, the cookie can only be read by the website that created it. There are different types of cookies. In order to decide which ones to accept and which ones to reject, a description of the different types is shown below. Cookies are characterised according to their lifespan in:
Temporary cookies |
They are issued by the Site on the user’s device during browsing, but are only stored for the duration of the browsing session itself. This means that – when the user closes the browsing browser – the cookies are automatically deleted, without remaining stored on the device. They are made up of random numbers generated by the server and serve to enable the safe and efficient exploration of the Site. Through the use of such cookies we can facilitate the user’s navigation within the Site, for example by remembering the data provided by the user when filling in forms on the Site, to recognise the user after he/she has logged in to the Site (so-called authentication cookies), to customise the Site interface based on the preferences indicated by the user. These cookies do not require the acquisition of the user’s prior and express consent as they are strictly necessary to provide the service requested by the user of the Site (pursuant to Article 122, paragraph 1, of the Privacy Code).
|
Permanent Cookies |
Also called ‘persistent cookies’, they are issued by the Site on the user’s device during navigation, but are also stored beyond for the duration of the navigation session itself, until they expire or are deleted by the user. The use of such cookies requires the express and informed consent of the user (pursuant to Section 122(1) of the Privacy Code). The user, by accessing the Site, is informed by means of an information banner concerning the cookies present therein, and by viewing the information provided, therefore gives his/her specific consent to the use of cookies. It is also considered valid consent on the part of the user to have configured their terminal to accept the use of cookies (pursuant to Article 122, paragraph 2, of the Privacy Code). Furthermore, if the user registers on the Site and gives his/her specific consent for his/her navigation to be monitored, the data relating to navigation within the Site may be associated with his/her personal data.

Technical cookies are divided into navigation or session cookies (they ensure normal navigation and use of the website) and functionality cookies (they allow the user to navigate according to a set of selected criteria, such as language, in order to improve the service rendered to the same). The prior consent of the person concerned is not required for the installation and use of technical cookies. | ||||
